By using our website or booking services from ceylonpeacock.travel, you agree to these terms. If you do not consent, please refrain from using our services.

Eligibility

Bookings and website use require you to be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering contracts.

Booking Contracts

A booking becomes confirmed once you complete your payment, provide necessary documents, and receive written confirmation from us.

Payments

  • A minimum deposit of 20% (or full payment for bookings within 30 days) is required at the time of booking.

  • Payment methods: bank transfer or credit card (Visa/Mastercard). A 2.65% processing fee applies for card payments.

  • Final balances are due 30 days before travel, or sooner for short-term bookings.

Prices & Surcharges

All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, government fees, or supplier changes. You may opt to pay additional costs or cancel your booking under the terms provided.

Amendments & Cancellations

  • Amendments: USD 100 fee per change, plus supplier fees.

  • Cancellations:

    • 41–60 days before travel: deposit non-refundable

    • 30–40 days: 50% refund (after deposit)

    • 20–29 days: 25% refund

    • Less than 19 days: no refund
      Cancellation policies for air tickets or third-party services may vary and will be passed on to you.

Travel Documents & Requirements

You are responsible for valid passports, visas, visas, and vaccinations. We can assist in arrangements, but you are personally responsible.

Travel Insurance

Strongly recommended. You certify you have adequate cover for medical, cancellation, personal liability, and baggage. We offer insurance options on request.

Liability

  • We take liability only for services we directly arrange and when paid in full.

  • We are not responsible for errors or issues from third-party suppliers (hotels, guides, airlines).

  • We disclaim liability for events beyond our control (force majeure), including disruptions, delays, illness, or loss of property.

Conduct

You must obey local laws and supplier rules. If your behavior causes issues or danger, we may end your travel arrangements without refund.

Damage & Loss

You agree to cover any damage or theft caused by you or your party during your trip.

Intellectual Property

All content on our site (text, images, logos) is owned by ceylonpeacock.travel. No copying or commercial use without permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

Complaints

Please raise any on-trip concerns immediately so we can resolve them quickly. If unresolved, send us a written complaint within 28 days of travel completion.
