Conservation
What we leave behind
We don’t donate to a conservation project. We run one.

Five of the world’s seven sea turtle species nest on Sri Lankan beaches. All five are threatened.
The Ahungalla Sea Turtle Conservation Project sits on the southwest coast, between Bentota and Balapitiya, on a stretch of sand turtles have returned to for longer than anyone has been counting.
Our team buys eggs from the people who would otherwise sell them, walks night patrols to find new nests, and puts the hatchlings into the sea after dark when the gulls are asleep.

Every journey we design protects one nest. Not an add-on, not a box to tick at the end. Months after you get home, we send you the count from yours.
